Originally OneRepublic were booked to play at Store Vega in Copenhagen, but because the tickets went so fast the show was moved to a bigger venue - Falconer Salen. And I think it was a wise decision. I love Vega, but the smaller place would not have done the show justice. I've rarely witnessed so perfect, live notes, but that was not all the band had to offer. The lights, the screens on the scene, the fact that they were so focused on delivering a good show really payed off. The mix of old and new songs made sure that every fan in the crowd could dance along to at least three of the songs on the set-list.
Even though the venue was fairly big they managed to connect with every person in the audience. The speeches between the songs weren't too long to make it boring and they all seemed genuinely pleases to play in Copenhagen again. The confetti at the end of the show added to the party and standing in the middle of it was amazing.
It was definitely worth the money. Even though I didn't know all of their new songs, it was amazing hearing older songs like Apologize and All The Right Moves live. They definitely still have much to offer as a band!
